Lady Baltimore Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. water
    6 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar. Add sifted flour, baking powder and salt alternately with milk and water.
    Fold in beaten egg whites and vanilla. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
