Ingredients

1 c. packed brown sugar
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1 lb. butter or margarine
3 eggs, well beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 lb. shelled pecans
5 c. flour
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter.
Add eggs and beat well.
Sift salt and soda in with flour.
Add broken nuts last.
Roll into 3 or 4 long rolls and wrap in waxed paper.
The dough will be soft, but put it into waxed paper and shape it.
Chill in refrigerator overnight.
