Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 sticks margarine, softened
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
3 c. confectioners sugar
2 eggs
5 or 6 bananas
1 large can pineapple, drained
1 large carton Cool Whip
chopped pecans or 1 can Angel Flake coconut
maraschino cherries
Preparation

Mix 1 stick margarine with graham cracker crumbs.
Pat out in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Beat eggs.
Add sugar and remaining margarine.
Beat until thick. (If necessary, add 1 cup of sugar.) Spread over crumb mixture.
Slice bananas lengthwise and lay
on top. Spread pineapple over bananas.
Spread Cool Whip over pineapple.
Sprinkle with nuts and arrange cherries on top.
Chill for several hours. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
