Sausage Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage
    3 c. hot cooked grits
    2 1/2 c. (10 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook sausage until brown in heavy skillet.
    Drain well.
    Spoon into lightly greased 13 x 9-inch dish.
    Combine grits, cheese and butter; stir until butter and cheese melt.
    Combine eggs and milk; stir into grits.
    Pour over sausage.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Yield:
    15 servings.
