Minestrone Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 qt. water
    1 beef chuck roast with bone
    1 onion
    salt and pepper
    1 c. navy beans, soaked overnight
    1 large potato, diced
    1 large carrot, diced
    1/4 head chopped fried cabbage
    2 cloves garlic
    few celery leaves
    1/2 c. tomatoes or tomato juice
    1/8 lb. broken spaghetti or more if broth is too thin
Preparation
    Boil water, chuck roast, onion, salt and pepper 1 hour gently. Add the next 6 ingredients.
    Cook until tender, then add the remaining ingredients.
    Simmer.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese when serving.
