Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pkg. navy or pea beans
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 (4 oz.) can tomato sauce
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. molasses
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 chunk salt pork, scored
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight in a saucepan.
    Drain and add enough fresh water to cover the beans.
    Bring the beans to a boil, add baking soda and continue to boil until the skins split.
    Drain and rinse beans.
    Place beans and all other ingredients in a crock-pot.
    Add enough water in the crock-pot to cover the ingredients.
    Cover and cook all day adding hot water as necessary to cover ingredients.
