Zesty Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
    3 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    1 3/4 c. water
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    2 bay leaves
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1/4 tsp. dried whole oregano
    6 lasagna noodles
    1 (12 oz.) carton small curd cottage cheese
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    2 1/2 c. (10 oz.) Mozzarella cheese, divided
Preparation
    Microwave Directions:
    Crumble beef into a 2-quart casserole. Add garlic.
    Cover with wax paper; microwave at High 5 to 6 minutes, or until meat is done, stirring twice.
    Drain.
    Stir in tomato paste, water, mushrooms, bay leaves, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and oregano.
    Cover with heavy-duty plastic wrap; microwave at High for 4 to 5 minutes, or until mixture is thoroughly heated, stirring once.
    Remove bay leaves; set aside.
