French Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    3 c. thin sliced onions
    1 Tbsp. flour
    4 c. beef bouillon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    4 slices French bread, cubed
    4 oz. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 1 3/4-quart saucepan.
    Add onion.
    Cook over low heat.
    Stir; sprinkle with flour; cook and stir 2 minutes. Add bouillon and simmer gently for 20 minutes.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Float toast on soup (in individual crocks), sprinkle with cheese and place crocks under broiler until cheese is lightly browned.
    Serves 4.
