Southern Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 qt. shredded cabbage
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cream or rich milk
Preparation
    Place butter in an iron skillet and brown slightly.
    Add shredded cabbage and stir well.
    Cover tightly and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Stir again, cover and simmer for 5 minutes longer.
    Add pepper, salt and cream and stir well.
    Cover and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
    Serve.
