Water Chestnut Hors D'Oeuvres - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans water chestnuts, drained
    1 lb. bacon
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. catsup
Preparation
    Cut water chestnuts in halves or thirds and wrap bacon around. Fasten with toothpicks.
    Bake on rack until browned.
    Put in a shallow pan or casserole and bake 45 minutes in sauce made from brown sugar and catsup.
    Serve hot or warm.
    Makes about 40.
