Francine'S Pasta Fagioli - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chopped garlic clove
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 celery stalk with leaves
    1 small can tomato paste
    1 lb. ditalini or small pasta
    1 can (from paste) of water
    1 can Northern beans
    1 can (from beans) of water
    salt & pepper
Preparation
    Brown garlic in olive oil.
    Chop celery (with leaves) into 2 or 3-inch pieces and add to garlic.
    Add tomato paste, beans and water.
    Season with salt & pepper.
    Let sauce simmer.
    Cook pasta and drain water, leaving enough water to cover pasta 1-2 inches over.
    When sauce is done, add to pasta and water.
