Mushroom & Swiss Cheese Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mushroom, sliced thin
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
    2 slices bacon, diced
    1 c. swiss cheese, cubed
    1 onion, minced
    1 10 inch pastry shell, baked
    2 c. heavy cream
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    4 eggs, lightly beaten
    diced red pepper
    sliced black olives
Preparation
    Saute mushrooms in butter for 3 minutes.
    In another pan, saute bacon until crisp and drain on absorbent paper.
    Combine mushrooms and bacon; add cheese and onion.
    Turn mixture into pie shell.
    Stir cream, nutmeg and pepper into eggs.
    Pour mixture into pie shell.
    Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 300 and bake 30 minutes longer. Garnish with red pepper and black olives.
    Makes 8 large servings.
