Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. yellow corn meal
    1 c. sour cream
    2 eggs
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 lb. hamburger meat
    dash of garlic powder or salt
    2/3 c. Crisco oil
    1 can cream-style corn
    1/2 c. jalapeno (hot) peppers, diced
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and heat iron skillet.
    Brown meat and drain.
    Combine all ingredients, except meat and cheese. Place 1/2 of cornbread mixture in skillet and top with 1/2 meat and 1/2 cheese.
    Add other 1/2 of cornbread mixture and top with other 1/2 of meat and other 1/2 of cheese.
    Bake for 45 minutes.
