Fried Beef Liver With Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef liver, deveined and skinned
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 large onions, sliced thin
    oil (for frying)
Preparation
    Cut liver in serving-size pieces; coat with flour.
    Heat oil in frying pan and cook liver over medium heat until brown on both sides; drain on paper towels.
    Cook the onions in same skillet until tender.
    Salt and pepper onions and liver.
    Drain excess fat from onions.
    Put onions on liver to serve.
