Koulourakia (Greek Butter Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sifted flour (2 lb.)
    1 lb. sweet butter
    1/2 pt. heavy cream
    1 1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
    5 eggs (eliminate 2 whites)
    1 c. sugar
    3 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat butter well (about 30 minutes) until light and fluffy. Gradually add sugar and beat well.
    Add cream, grated orange rind and 5 egg yolks (save 3 whites).
    Mix baking powder with some of the flour.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Alternate flour and beaten egg whites and add to the mixture.
    Check mixture until you can roll the dough to make cookies.
