Potatoes And Cabbage In Tomato Sauce(Patate E Verze Al Salsa Di Pomodori) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    4 large potatoes
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1/2 tsp. red crushed pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 chicken bouillon cube
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Clean
    and
    slice
    up cabbage.
    Peel and cube potatoes. Place cabbage and potatoes in large saucepan and add the rest of the ingredients.
    Bring to a boil; then cook on medium heat until potatoes
    are
    tender,
    about 45 minutes.
    Stir mixture occasionally
    to make sure it does not stick.
    Check to see if there is enough
    juice.
    If potatoes and cabbage look too dry, add a little more water.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
    This makes a great first course dish.
