Steve'S Triangle Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cans tomatoes (14 oz. each)
    1 can tomato paste (6 oz.)
    2 cans beans (redskin, kidney, etc.)
    1 medium to large onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 sweet peppers, chopped
    2 hot peppers, sliced
    6 medium garlic buds
    1 1/2 lb. ground meat (beef and pork)
    1 can beer
    2 Tbsp. oregano, crushed
    1 Tbsp. basil, crushed
    1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. cumin
    1/2 Tbsp. red pepper
    1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. bacon fat
Preparation
    Saute 3 buds garlic in olive oil, brown meat in oil; drain. Slice 3 more garlic buds, put in pot.
    Add the meat, canned tomatoes, onion, all the peppers and the beer.
    Bring to a boil, add all the spices and stir, reduce heat to low, add 2 bay leaves and the bacon fat.
    Simmer 2 hours.
    Add beans, simmer another hour.
    Use cornmeal to thicken to taste.
