Hummingbird Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. all purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
3 large eggs
3/4 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 3/4 c. mashed ripe bananas
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans divided
Preparation

Stir together first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; add eggs and oil, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened.
Do not beat.
Stir in vanilla, pineapple, bananas, and 1 cup of pecans. Pour batter into 3 greased and flowered 9 inch round cake pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 23-38 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pans 10 minutes.
Remove from pans onto wire racks and cool completely on the wire racks.
