Turtles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1 can Eagle Brand milk
    1 (8 oz.) bag caramels
    1 (8 oz.) bag chocolate morsels
    1 jar peanuts
Preparation
    Cook and stir constantly and vigorously; it burns easily. Cook until it forms a firm ball in cool water (remove from heat when testing).
    Pour into a 4-cup Pyrex cup and pour caramel over nuts already placed on greased cookie sheets.
    Spread with chocolate that has been melted.
