Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    2/3 c. milk
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    5 1/2 c. flour (approximate)
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. orange juice
    2 Tbsp. orange peel, grated
Preparation
    Soften yeast in warm water.
    Scald milk with sugar, shortening and salt.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Stir in flour, beat well and then add dissolved yeast, beaten eggs, orange juice and peel.
    Use flour and form in soft ball.
    Let rise for 10 minutes.
    Knead on lightly floured board until smooth and elastic.
    Place in greased bowl and let rise until double.
    Punch down, cover and let rise for 10 minutes.
    Shape for buns.
    Let it rise until bun doubles in size.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Excellent bun for Sloppy Joes or as bread, served warm.
    Also can be frosted and used at breakfast time.
