Black Bottom Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. cream cheese
    1 egg
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
    3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cocoa
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. water
    2/3 c. oil
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat first 4 ingredients well.
    Stir in chips.
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Combine water, oil, vinegar and vanilla.
    Add flour mixture to liquids; beat well.
    Pour into cupcake molds and top with spoonful of cheese mixture.
    Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Makes 18 cupcakes.
