Burgoo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 oxtails
    12 old hens
    2 gal. potatoes
    4 gal. tomatoes
    2 gal. onions
    2 gal. carrots
    3 gal. shredded cabbage
    2 gal. corn
    6 pkg. spaghetti
    2 lb. dried beans
    4 pkg. noodles
Preparation
    In a large pot, fill half full with water.
    Put in chicken and oxtails.
    Boil 6 hours.
    Take bones (as many as you can) out.
    In a large iron kettle, put meat, diced potatoes, diced carrots, sliced onions, shredded cabbage, spaghetti, beans and noodles.
    Stir constantly.
    Add pepper and salt.
    Add tomatoes and corn.
    May have to add water.
    Takes approximately 12 to 14 hours to cook.
