Slick Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. lard
    enough cold water to make soft dough
Preparation
    Roll 1/8-inch thick; cut in 3-inch squares.
    Boil about 15 minutes in chicken or meat broth.
    Dumplings may be cut in 1/2-inch squares and cooked with English peas, butter beans or vegetable soup.
