Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (No. 2) can cut green beans
1 (No. 2) can diced or sliced carrots
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar (diabetics use 1 Tbsp. Sweet*10 or 12 pkg. Equal)
1/2 c. vegetable oil
large onion
1 (No. 2) can English peas
1 c. diced celery
1 bell pepper (red or green)
1 round Tbsp. mayonnaise
Preparation

Drain green beans and carrots.
Marinate overnight in vinegar, sugar and vegetable oil.
Onion may be sliced and placed on top or cut fine and added to mixture.
Next day, add drained peas, celery, bell pepper and mayonnaise to mix.
Place in refrigerator to cool for 1 hour before serving.
