Pumpernickel Rye Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. rye flour
5 c. white flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
2 pkg. yeast
2 Tbsp. butter
3 c. beer
1 c. molasses
3 Tbsp. caraway seed
Preparation

Combine sugar, yeast and 1/2 cup warm water; set aside.
Over low heat, mix beer, butter and molasses until very warm.
Combine 3 cups rye flour, 1 cup white flour and salt.
With mixer on low, gradually add liquid to dry ingredients, increasing speed to medium and beating for 2 minutes.
With spoon, stir in yeast mixture, 4 cups white flour and caraway seed.
Dough will be sticky.
