Grandma Westermeyer'S Krummel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 C. flour
    2 C. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 C. shortening
    2 eggs (optional)
    1 C. sour milk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon and shortening. Reserve one cup of mixture for crumb topping.
    Add eggs, milk, baking soda and salt. Mix well.
    Pour into 2
    nine inch round cake pans. Sprinkle crumb mixture on top.
    Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until knife or toothpick comes out clean.
