Oreo Cookie Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) pkg. Oreo cookies, crushed
    1/2 c. margarine, melted
    1 large can evaporated milk (13 oz.)
    1/2 c. margarine (solid)
    2/3 c. chocolate chips
    2 c. powdered sugar
    1 1/2 c. Spanish peanuts
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
    9 oz. bowl Cool Whip
Preparation
    Crust:
    Mix Oreos and melted margarine.
    Pat all except 3/4 cup Oreo crumbs in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Freeze for 1 hour.
    Soften ice cream.
    Spread on crust and freeze.
