Aunt Jo'S No Name Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or half margarine
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
    giant size Hershey chocolate bar
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients in heavy saucepan and cook until 300\u00b0 on candy thermometer, stirring constantly.
    Do not rush boiling and be careful not to burn.
    Immediately take off heat and add vanilla.
    Quickly pour into buttered 9 x 9 pan.
    Lay chocolate bar on top and spread over all as it melts.
    Sprinkle nuts on top. Cool until set.
    Break into serving size pieces.
