Country Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. boneless round steak, 1 1/2 to 1 3/4-inches thick
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. beef broth
    1/2 c. catsup
Preparation
    Trim excess fat from steak.
    Sprinkle flour evenly on both sides of meat and pound with mallet.
    Melt shortening in large Dutch oven.
    Brown steak on both sides.
    Combine remaining ingredients, stirring well, then pour over steak.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until tender, adding more water if needed.
