Butterscotch Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg yolks
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Blend eggs and milk.
    Mix salt, brown sugar and cornstarch. Add egg and milk mixture to this dry mixture.
    Add butter and cook over low heat until smooth and thick.
    Stir constantly.
    Cool and add vanilla.
