Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    dash of salt
    3 eggs
    2 c. canned cream
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    vanilla wafers
    5 to 6 bananas
Preparation
    Combine 1/2 cup sugar, flour and salt.
    Mix in egg yolks. Stir in cream.
    Cook, uncovered, stirring constantly, until thickened.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla.
    Spread small amount on bottom of 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Make a layer of wafers, top with a layer of sliced bananas.
    Pour about 1/3 of custard over bananas.
    Continue to make layers ending with custard on top.
