Green Tomato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 medium green tomatoes
    salt
    hot water
    1/2 lemon, sliced thinly
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 Tbsp. tapioca
    double crust pie shell
    butter
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Slice tomatoes; cover with salt and hot water for 5 to 10 minutes.
    Rinse tomatoes well; add lemon, cinnamon, nutmeg and tapioca.
    Mix well, put in pie shell and dot with butter.
    Put on top crust and slit 4 or 5 times for venting. Bake for 45 minutes to an hour.
    Watch pie crust carefully, it might not take quite this long to bake it.
