Buster Bar Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. oreo cookies, crushed
    1 stick butter, melted
    1/2 gallon ice cream
    1 1/2 cups peanuts
    1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
    1 stick butter
    2/3 cup chocolate chips
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 cups powdered sugar
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix cookies and melted butter together.
    Put in bottom of 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
    Spread ice cream over cookies and press peanuts into ice cream.
    Freeze.
    Soft boil milk, butter, chocolate chips and powdered sugar
    for 8 minutes.
    Remove from heat, add vanilla. Cool to room temperature.
    Pour on top of peanuts.
    Put cool whip on top.
    Freeze until firm.
