Chicken Fried Hamburger - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. melted shortening
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Shape hamburger into patties; chill.
    Place milk and flour in a flat dish.
    Place each patty in milk; turn over, then dip in flour.
    Place patties in hot skillet with melted shortening. Season.
    Cook on each side until crispy, flattening as they cool.
