Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. white sugar
3 sticks butter
3 eggs
3 c. applesauce
3 tsp. soda
1 box raisins
1 c. nuts
4 c. flour (plain)
2 tsp. each: cinnamon, allspice and cloves
1/2 c. strawberry preserves
maraschino cherries (optional)

Preparation

Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Turn back temperature to 350\u00b0 and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.
