Red Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chopped onion
    1 head red cabbage, shredded
    2 apples, cut up
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 stick cinnamon
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Saute chopped onion in a little fat.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer until the cabbage is done.
