Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each egg is added.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add this alternately with milk.
    Add the vanilla and lemon flavoring last.
    Bake in large tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325\u00b0.
