Harvest Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. apples, peeled and chopped
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. oil
    3 c. cake or all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 eggs
Preparation
    In a small bowl, combine apples with sugar.
    Let stand 1 hour. In another bowl, mix the flour, soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. In a large bowl, combine eggs, oil and vanilla.
    Using a beater, mix until well blended.
    Add apples, a little at a time, alternating with flour mixture.
    Blend mixture well. Add walnuts. Pour mixture into a greased and floured Bundt pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours until done. Cool in pan for 25 minutes, then turn out onto a serving plate. Dust top with powdered sugar, if desired.
