Soft Roll Out Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    3/4 c. milk
    3 c. flour (1/4 to 1/2 c. more as needed)
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. butter or shortening
    1 tsp. salt*
    3 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. water in 2 Tbsp. Jell-O (optional; only use if want colored and flavored cookies)
Preparation
    Beat egg into milk.
    Mix all together.
    Roll out and cut in shape desired.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes in a 375\u00b0 oven.
    Makes about 30 cutouts.
