Crescent Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can refrigerator rolls
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Lightly grease a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Separate crescent dough into 2 large rectangles.
    Press rectangles to bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of greased pan to form a crust.
    Press to seal perforations.
    Bake crust at 375\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
    Combine egg, pecans, sugar, corn syrup, melted butter and vanilla in bowl.
    Mix and pour over partially baked crust.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown.
    Cool and cut into bars.
    Makes 2 dozen 4 x 2-inch bars.
