Ingredients

1 c. sweet cream
2 c. flour
1 egg yolk
1/4 lb. sweet butter
cinnamon and sugar, mixed
golden raisins
chopped walnuts
Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients thoroughly until you have a pastry dough.
Roll or form a 3-inch log and wrap it in wax paper and refrigerate overnight.
Cut about 2-inch piece of pastry and roll out on floured board.
Cut pastry into about 2-inch squares and fill with cinnamon and sugar, raisins and walnuts.
Roll in a crescent form cookie; place on cookie sheet and brush on some sweet butter on each cookie.
Bake in 400\u00b0 oven about 12 to 15 minutes.
One batch will yield 60 to 80 cookies.
Serve with powdered sugar.
