Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter (not margarine)
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. white sugar
    5 large or 6 small eggs
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    3 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Cream together the butter, Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Mix flour and baking powder.
    Alternating milk and flour mixture, mix into egg mixture.
    Add flavorings.
    Pour into greased pan.
    Place in cold oven on middle rack.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 (do not preheat) for 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 25 minutes.
    Do not open oven for at least 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Cover when cool.
    Wait until next day to cut.
