Barbecued Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 to 3 1/2 lb.) ready to cook young chicken, cut in pieces
    2 medium onions, in 1/4-inch slices
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 c. catsup
    1 c. water
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 to 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
Preparation
    Brown chicken slowly in hot salad oil.
    Remove chicken.
    Cook onion and celery in hot oil until tender, but not brown; add remaining ingredients and season.
    Simmer for 10 minutes.
    Place chicken in 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish; pour sauce over.
    Bake uncovered at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours or until done.
    Makes 6 servings.
