Plain Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 2/3 c. flour
    5 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. shortening
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    3 lb. sugar
    8 eggs
    1 pt. evaporated milk
    1 pt. water
Preparation
    Mix together evaporated milk and water.
    Sift flour and measure.
    Resift with baking powder and salt.
    Cream shortening and vanilla thoroughly.
    Add sugar and continue creaming until light and fluffy.
    Beat in eggs.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with diluted milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Pour into greased muffin pans.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Makes 12 dozen.
