Pecan Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 2/3 c. sifted powdered sugar, divided
    1 Tbsp. dark corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    pinch of salt
    2 Tbsp. half and half
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream the butter and 1/3 cup powdered sugar.
    Add corn syrup, vanilla and salt, mixing well.
    Add half and half, alternately with remaining powdered sugar, beginning and ending with sugar. Mix well after each addition.
    Stir in pecans.
    Yields about 1 cup.
