Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. popped corn
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put popcorn in a 17 x 12 x 2-inch baking dish in saucepan. Combine sugar, butter, corn syrup and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
    Cook. Stir over medium heat until butter melts and mixture boils.
    Cook (no stirring) 5 minutes more.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in baking soda and vanilla.
    Pour over popcorn.
    Gently stir (coat).
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Stir.
    Cook 5 to 10 minutes more.
