Lo-Cal Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium sliced potatoes
    2 medium sliced carrots
    1 c. string beans (1/2-inch)
    1 onion, diced (large)
    2 stalks sliced celery
    4 large diced tomatoes
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 tsp. parsley
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    pinch of salt
    2 qt. water
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in a big pot.
    Add two quarts of water. Bring to a boil, turn down and simmer until done.
    Serves about 10 to 12.
