Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) box strawberry-flavored gelatin
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. whipping cream
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    1 pt. strawberries, capped and sliced
Preparation
    Combine gelatin and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until gelatin dissolves.
    Remove from heat; allow to cool.
    In a chilled medium bowl, whip cream until stiff.
    In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until fluffy.
    Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture.
    Fold in gelatin.
    Spoon filling evenly into cooked cooled pie crust.
    Cover and refrigerate until pie is set in center.
    Arrange strawberries over filling.
    Serve with Cool Whip topping.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
