Cocoa Devil'S Food Cake With Peppermint Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. cocoa
    2/3 c. shortening
    1/2 c. water
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add soft shortening and water. Beat 2 minutes.
    Add eggs and 1/2 cup water; beat 2 more minutes. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
