Ghoorabie (Cookies)(International: Egypt) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    2 egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. almond flavoring
    powdered sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg yolks.
    Alternately add flour and flavoring until dough is cookie dough texture.
    Moisten hands with milk and shape cookies to bite-sized pieces, arranging on cookie sheet, 1/4-inch apart.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes or until pink around edges. Remove and sprinkle with powdered sugar while hot.
    Colored sugar can be used for the holidays.
    Makes 3 dozen.
